Dawson Design Group is a full-service interior design firm specializing in all things fun and modern. Since 2005, we have completed more than 150 projects in Southern California, Austin, Chicago and Atlanta. DDG has garnered the “Design Impact Award” and “Design Excellence Award” by the American Society of Interior Designers; multiple “Home of the Year” awards from San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles; and an “Award of Excellence, Architectural Rehabilitation” award from the City of San Diego Historical Resources Board.

After successful careers in the performing and visual arts, president and owner Anita Dawson founded DDG to fulfill her true calling in a creatively hands-on environment. Clients gravitate toward the easygoing style and clean-lined approach Anita has honed over a decade in design.  She has been featured in HGTV’s Professional Network and served on the board of Design Trust Ltd – an exclusive group of leading interior design firms around the country
